apolloprojeckt | Here the end result of the LUT tower 1/144 from the dutch model builder Jan van Den Nouland. He bought the kit from Launch Complex Models in 2005/2006 and began building it in that period. With timeframes he has built it together, but many people know the manual of this kit was not complete. It goes only to level 80 and the rest was photos, info, bleuprints and more to complete this beautiful 90% brass photo-etch launch tower. I think also that he is the first one to know how complete the total build of this model.

Jurg Bolli | This looks positively fabulous. |
Norman.King | Stunning!!! |
Retro Rocket | Did he document the build so the other people who have this kit can complete theirs as well? This looks great! |
apolloprojeckt | He has photos of the building progress. If I have them I can place them under a slide show. |
Henk Boshuijer | I wish I had the patience and the skill to build such a nice model... |
GACspaceguy | Great work!! |
arjuna | Impressive! |
Apollo Redux | Brilliant! |
alexbaja | Very delicate work. Thumbs up!!! |
garymilgrom | Beautiful work Jan! It reminds me that the swing arms of LUT were their own marvels of engineering. They were quite heavy, but had to accelerate then brake very quickly to not hit the ascending vehicle or the tower itself. This model is a superb tribute to the designers and builders of this fantastic machinery. |
Jay Chladek | WOW! I know how tricky it can be to work with photo etch, but to build something entirely from photoetch, let alone having to figure out the last few levels on his own is simply a staggering difficulty to overcome. Good work! |
history in miniature | Simply amazing Pascal, tell your friend this. |
apolloprojeckt | Thanks people for the compliments for Jan. He appreciates this very much. He read this site also, maybe he is soon also member of this site with more info and passion for real space. |
Gilbert | Wow! It looks fantastic. |
GoesTo11 | Amazing. I'm absolutely in awe of the skill (and patience) of modelers here. Definitely urge Jan to join the cS "club"...love to see more of his work! |
theclocksrunning | The LUT is stunning. Congrats! |
